Conversing with a grieving person

That's not my home!

  No, that's not my home!

This 1912 empty house with a shop front is in the town of Bell in Queensland

Conversing Conversing-  talking with someone who is grieving
One of my young grandsons, with his mother, attended the funeral of his 5 year old friend last week.
How does one offer support, show respect, and express that they care?
By mustering up that inner confidence and being natural, being one's self, and expressing kindness and compassion in one’s words and one’s actions can be very comforting to the ones who are grieving. If people stay away or if people don’t say anything when someone they know is grieving, life is made even harder for the grieving person. May we each have the confidence to be who we can be, and to say what we can say, to help the other person.

May we each have the confidence
to approach and comfort those who grieve
